Otto Bonilla

It started with curiosity.

I’ve been coding since I was 13. Some of my early projects connected software with electronics and mechanics.

Since then, I’ve built web and mobile products, led engineering teams, and moved deeper into AI platforms and infrastructure. I like understanding how things work, making them useful, and owning the path from idea to implementation.

Early builds

High-school mini submarine
I built a remote-controlled mini submarine in high school, bringing together programming, electronics, and mechanical design. The project used PIC microcontrollers and Java.
A language for growing plants
I built a domain-specific language to monitor and control a plant-growing setup running on a Raspberry Pi. It controlled water, oxygen, and lighting, connecting the language to the physical growing environment.
